IF YOU ARE A CASE WORKER OR PET OWNER GOING INTO A SHELTER - Please contact us directly (with details).
We ask that you be honest and ethical in your request for assistance.
Project SNITS' funding is meant to help genuine pet owners in true need of assistance who have tried to fix their pets but, due to financial hardship, have not been able to; including due to job loss, federal assistance, disability, moving into emergency housing/shelter, etc. Funding is not intended to “just pay for any/all spay/neuter requests.” If you can afford a low-cost spay/neuter, please contact a clinic directly and book your pet's appointment.
If you know you can afford it, or you can take a few weeks to save up, or if you plan to get/buy a pet in the future…then please take the ethical route and get your pet fixed on your own, saving for these initial pet costs. We work to stretch these dollars and to support the most vulnerable residents across Maricopa County. Help us, help more animals! Thank you!

Your request will not be fulfilled if you are found to be selling pets/buying your pet, the animals is part of a shelter/rescue group, is in foster (including you being the foster), in transition of a home, a feral/stray cat, etc.
